UPDATE (6/24/20):

Wow! You really answered the call. In just 12 hours you helped match our $15,000 commitment to support Iolani Palace.

Hawaii Community Foundation (HCF) has added $20,000 to our matching challenge.

This means every dollar you continue to give will now be matched by HCF, up to our new goal of $35,000.

With your kokua, we could soon be giving Iolani Palace a $70,000 check.

Mahalo nui for rising to this challenge to support Hawaii's most prized treasure.

The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) is rising to the challenge to support ʻIolani Palace during its time of need.

Through our charitable giving arm - Hawaiian Way Fund, CNHA will be matching every dollar donated towards this cause, up to $15,000, to the Friends of ʻIolani Palace.

Built in 1882 by King Kālakaua, ʻIolani Palace was the home of Hawaiʻi's reigning monarchs until it was illegally overthrown in 1893. ʻIolani Palace is a living and breathing steeple of our history, people - and our resilience.

Friends of ʻIolani Palace depend heavily on donations and entry fees to support the maintenance and operation of the palace and its priceless artifacts.

On March 18, 2020 – along with businesses and organizations statewide, ʻIolani Palace was forced to shut its doors. Nearly all income was cut off. The palace is now struggling to keep the lights on and water running.

Please kōkua where you can. Your $1 will instantly turn into $2.
